Allglass Facades has helped to bring a distinctive appearance to an apartment development at Kingsbury Circle, London.

Allglass Facades has manufactured and fitted more than 150 aluminium framed casement windows and 70 full height glazed doors at a new build apartment development at Kingsbury Circle in London.

Erected by a specialist new build contractor, the impressive new build fourstorey apartment development comprises 44 one and two bedroom apartments and a ground floor commercial unit. The structure makes extensive use of aluminium framed windows and doors. Allglass Facades, who have a long standing relationship with this customer, was awarded the contract because of the success of the windows and doors it had supplied on previous projects.

The apartments, known as ‘Azure’ have been constructed with screens lined with Trespa panels to form an imaginative and aesthetically distinctive façade. They feature large casement windows to make maximum use of natural light and full height glazed doors opening out onto a private balcony or terrace. On the ground floor is a Tesco Express with a commercial screen façade and entrance doors with electric strike and automated entry system.

All the windows in the apartments utilise a profile which combines excellent thermal and weather performance with enhanced aesthetic appeal. Windows and doors fabricated from this profile satisfy all regulations on energy efficiency including full compliance with Building Regulations
Part L.

The aluminium systems were designed to have continuous interface with the cedar cladding and finished in a durable RAL 7016 dark grey polyester powder coating.

The 70 full height door and bay combinations used on the contract were fabricated from a complementary system and finished in the same grey. This door system offers exceptional levels of insulation with high torsion rigidity.

”Allglass was selected for this project on the basis of their impressive track record and because the Beaufort aluminium system they recommended offers many benefits including low maintenance and pollution resistance. Its slim sightlines and grey finish complement the building’s stunning exterior”, said a spokesman from the customer.
